University leaders have been stirring up the pot left and right lately and the latest administrator to do so is Texas A&M athletic director Eric Hyman.
On Thursday, the Aggies held the Brazos County A&M Club Coach's Night, which was essentially a night to fire up boosters about the football program.
This is where Hyman stepped up to the microphone and delivered a subtle blow toward Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
"What do the moon and Texas A&M have in common? They both control the Tide."
The joke went over well with the Texas A&M supporters, however, the quote wound up on Twitter within a matter of minutes and this is when the real fun began.
Hyman was likely making reference to the Aggies 29-24 victory over the Tide in 2012. It marked Alabama's only blemish of the season en route to their third national title in four years.
The Tide will seek revenge on the Aggies Sept. 14 when the two teams meet at Kyle Field. It should be a hotly contested one, folks.
