The home of Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops was burglarized early Wednesday morning.
The robbery reportedly occurred around 3:30 a.m. while the family was present and sleeping. Stoops and his family did not realize they were victims of a burglary until they awoke in the following morning.
One of the items stolen in the heist included a family vehicle. However, no one was hurt or harmed during the process. The Stoops family just moved into the residence last year.
The crime is being considered a first-degree offense and the Norman Police Department is already investigating leads.
Stoops has been the Oklahoma coach since 1999 and has a career record of 149-37. His teams have won eight Big 12 championships and one national championship in 2000.
