The Tampa Bay Rays aren't accustomed to snow. For one, they play in domed stadium (Tropicana Field), which eliminates any and all chance of a game being interrupted by precipitation. Secondly, the Rays play majority of their games in Florida, which isn't exactly a hot spot for snowflakes.
However, the Rays were treated to a winter wonderland Thursday afternoon as a blanket of snow swept over Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. The game was delayed on account of snow in the bottom of the fourth inning and that allowed several members of the visiting squad to take pictures of the beautiful spectacle using their cell phones.
Who doesn't enjoy a snow delay every now and then?
