The Houston Astros are bad. Really bad.
They begrudgingly own the worst record in Major League Baseball and the immediate outlook for their future doesn't look so good, either.
On Sunday, trailing 6-0 to the Texas Rangers, Astros starting pitcher Jordan Lyles balked in a way that epitomized the current state of the Houston franchise. Watch as Lyles winds up to deliver a pitch to Lance Berkman, but for reasons unbeknownst to the masses, decides to hold onto the ball when following through toward home plate.
Keep an eye on runner Elvis Andrus, who gives an amusing shoulder shrug while trotting home from third base because of the miscue.
