In case you missed it, Colorado Rockies center fielder Dexter Fowler made an outstanding grab to deny Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Adrian Gonzalez of a home run Wednesday night.
The play came in the bottom of the third inning when Gonzalez ripped a pitch high and deep toward the left center field wall at Dodger Stadium. Watch as Fowler sprints over to the area, tracks the ball, times his jump, and proceeds to reach over the fence to pull back a potential home run.
Fowler's catch helped preserve the lead for the Rockies, a lead in which they never relinquished en route to securing a 7-3 victory. Fowler was 1-for-4 at the plate with a run scored.
