Bo Jackson is considered by some sports enthusiasts to be the greatest pure athlete in the history of American athletics. Jackson possessed a rare blend of size, power, strength, and speed, all of which helped him excel in both the National Football League as a running back, and as an outfielder in Major League Baseball.
If there was ever a can't-miss prospect, Jackson was it.
With that being said, here is a 1985 scouting report on a player from Auburn University known as Vincent Edward Jackson. We all know him as Bo, of course.
As you can see, scouts were absolutely in love with his ability.
Unfortunately, a hip injury sustained during an NFL game in 1991 prematurely ended Jackson's promising career. Jackson attempted a comeback a couple of years later, but was never really the same.
It's hard to envision any athlete coming along in the future who boasts as much natural talent than Bo did. NBA superstar LeBron James is the only modern day athlete who even comes close.
