So, Tuesday's matinee affair between the Rockies and Braves at Coors Field was interesting.
It featured freezing temperatures, frosty fingers, and a group of fans decked out in white bear costumes.
Those fans, presumably of the Braves, can be seen in the video above cheering loudly and proudly to a solo home run by Evan Gattis in the fourth inning to put the visitors on top, 4-3. Gattis' blast proved to be the decisive blow as the Braves wound up winning the game by the same score.
Upon further review, those fans may have actually been polar bears in disguise. According to the official box score, the game time temperature was 23 degrees. That is really, really tough weather to watch a baseball game, folks. Despite the cold, nearly 20,000 fans reportedly walked through the turnstiles for game one of the doubleheader.
The two teams are currently laboring through game two as we speak.
