Video: Benches clear, brawl ensues in Dodgers-Padres game

It's all fun and games until someone gets plunked.

This was the scene at PETCO Park in the sixth inning Thursday night when Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke pegged San Diego Padres hitter Carlos Quentin in the arm with a high and tight fastball.

Quentin didn't appreciate the gesture too much, and after a couple of slow steps toward the pitcher's mound, began to charge at Greinke. Chaos immediately ensued as both benches cleared and a brawl naturally followed.

Listen as legendary broadcaster Vin Scully sorts out the commotion in a way that only a man who has been calling baseball games for several decades could. He stays completely calm and poised the whole way through.

Afterward, the Dodgers were hit with yet another blow, as it was announced that Greinke, the ace of the pitching staff, suffered a fractured collarbone because of the melee, and will miss an indefinite portion of time to recover.
