Video: Umpire makes Angels reliever Matt Oye color fingernail

For the second day in a row, umpire Tim McClelland found himself in an unusual situation during a spring game.

On Tuesday, McClelland was forced into calling pitches from behind the pitcher's mound after one of his colleagues was hit by a pitch.

On Wednesday, McClelland was in the middle of a predicament again when Los Angeles Angels pitcher Matt Oye began warming up in the seventh inning. Someone from the Cleveland Indians dugout alerted McClelland that Oye had a distracting white fingernail on his pitching hand. That's when McClelland jumped into action and made an Angels trainer come out to the mound and cover up the blemish using a black Sharpie.

Los Angeles skipper Mike Scioscia came out to receive an explanation and McClelland was happy to oblige.
