Army played host to the storied Yankees Saturday afternoon in what was essentially a final tuneup for New York before they open their regular season on Monday.
All in all, it was a patriotic affair in West Point. The game combined America's national pastime and its bravest men and women, with arguably the greatest sports franchise in history.
As you can see from the video above, Yankees right-hander Joba Chamberlain felt compelled to join some of the Cadets in the crowd in between the second and third innings, and even took time to sign some autographs and snap some candid photos.
Well done, sir. On a side note, how awesome is that mustache Chamberlain is sporting these days?
As for the game itself, the Bronx Bombers went on to double up the Black Knights, 10-5.
