Photo: Chane Behanan wears Kevin Ware's jersey at end of game

In case you missed it, Louisville guard Kevin Ware suffered one of the most gruesome injuries you are ever likely to see on a basketball court during Sunday's Elite Eight game against Duke.

Ware sustained the injury with just over six minutes to play in the first half while attempting to block a three-point shot attempt by the Blue Devils. As Ware was coming down to land from his jump, his ankle gives way and results in a terrifying spectacle.

After an emotional delay, the Cardinals rallied to storm past Duke en route to its second consecutive trip to the Final Four.

With the game well in hand in the closing seconds, Louisville forward Chane Behanan paid tribute to his fallen teammate by wearing Ware's No. 5 jersey for all to see.

The Cards, led by electrifying guard Russ Smith and legendary coach Rick Pitino, are heavily favored to cut down the nets in Atlanta and bring home the school's third national championship.
