Free agent wide receiver Donte' Stallworth is expected to be okay following a bizarre incident involving a hot air balloon Saturday morning.
Stallworth's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says his client "has some burns" after a hot air balloon he was riding in reportedly crashed into power lines in Homestead, Fla.
There will reportedly three passengers inside the basket carrier at the time.
According to NFL.com, Stallworth and his girlfriend were rushed to an immediate care center to receive medical attention. The third passenger was not injured, according to police.
Miami-Dade Police said they are working in a support role for the National Transportation Safety Board as authorities respond to the incident.
Stallworth, 32, spent last season with the New England Patriots, and was placed on injured reserve after Week 14. Drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft, Stallworth has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins.
The 10-year veteran has 321 catches, 4,837 yards, and 35 touchdowns in his NFL career.
