Video: 2013 Blue Jays season in Nintendo form

The Toronto Blue Jays really shook up things this offseason in an effort to finally surge to the top of the ultra-competitive American League East Division.

They acquired electrifying shortstop Jose Reyes, and starting pitchers Josh Johnson and Mark Buehrle from the Marlins, acquired reigning National Young Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey from the Mets, and signed free agent outfielder Melky Cabrera.

Those players will join a cast of proven commodities such as first basemen Edwin Encarnacian, right fielder Jose Bautista, designated hitter Adam Lind, and center fielder Colby Rasmus, among others. The 2013 season will either go down as a huge success or a huge disappointment for the Blue Jays.

Here is a look at their story, as told by Nintendo.
