South Florida Gives Punter Special Teams Award Riddled With Spelling Errors, Including Punter's Last Name

On Sunday, during halftime of the home basketball game against Louisville, the South Florida Bulls honored punter Justin Brockhaus-Kann. Kann, who wrapped up five years of service for the football program last season, was bestowed the Special Teams Player of the Year Award after averaging a career-best 40.6 yards per punt in 2012. However, the plaque he received not only spelled "offensive" wrong, but it spelled his last name incorrectly, as well!

The Bulls went on to lose the basketball game by 18 points to the No. 12 ranked team in the land. And Voodoo Five, a USF blog, used the commemorative piece to help explain the woes in the Bulls' athletic department.
South Florida is in danger of finishing dead last in the Big East standings in both men's basketball and football this year. Not to fear, guys. The bulk of the conference is about to be swapped out with Conference USA teams soon.
