Video: Stephen Jackson falls over courtside waitress, suffers game-ending injury

The New York Knicks upended the visiting San Antonio Spurs 100-83 at Madison Square Gardens on Thursday evening. And they did so in part thanks to some great perimeter defense by a courtside waitress.

San Antonio's Stephen Jackson was injured after tripping over a female serve, who was taking the order of Mayor Bloomberg, after his 3-pointer clanked off the rim during a play in the first quarter. Pretty bizarre stuff indeed.

Jackson was forced to exit the game and did not return after suffering a sprained right ankle on the freakish play.

One can only assume that the waitress escaped unharmed and that Bloomberg received whatever it was that he ordered.

Jackson and the Spurs weren't so lucky.
