The Atlanta Falcons nearly suffered a monumental meltdown during Sunday's 30-28 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC playoffs. Unfortunately, a 10-year-old Seahawks fan wasn't so lucky.
Trailing 27-7 entering the fourth quarter, the odds of a comeback for Seattle were very slim, especially being on the road. However, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks scored 21 unanswered points to take an improbable 28-27 lead with just 34 ticks to go in the game. It would appear as though Seattle pulled off a comeback for the ages, right? Wrong.
Much to the anguish of this little girl in the video above, the Falcons snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after Matt Bryant booted a 49-yard field goal with 13 seconds remaining on the clock, thus giving the home team a narrow 30-28 advantage. The Seahawks couldn't muster another score this time around, as Wilson's final pass was picked off.
Apparently, the whole ordeal was just too much to stomach for this young lady. Poor girl. It was a good run for her Seahawks nonetheless.
