Video: Florida pulls off trick play right before halftime

Florida desperately needed a score going into halftime against Louisville in the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday.

Trailing 24-3, and facing a 4th & Goal situation, Gators head coach Will Muschamp employed the use of some trickery. With everyone in the stadium expecting Florida to play it safe and attempt a field goal, Muschamp rolled the dice and called for an unusual running formation instead.

His gamble paid off as the Gators punched the ball into the endzone to close the lead to 24-10.

Although the play certainly provided some momentum at the time, it didn't seem to carry over into the second half. The No. 3 Gators currently trail No. 21 Louisville in the third quarter.
