Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested in his home state of Alabama on Tuesday after providing the arresting officer with a fake name during a routine traffic stop.
McClain was initially pulled over for a window tint violation. The former Alabama Crimson Tide standout has since been bonded out of jail.
This is not the first time McClain has been in trouble with the law. McClain was arrested in November 2011 on assault charges and found guilty in court, but the charges were dropped on appeal when the victim no longer wanted to pursue the case.
The 23-year old racked up 60 tackles and one sack in 11 games for the Raiders this season. He missed two games after being suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.
