You're looking at the 2012 Team USA basketball jersey's courtesy of Nike. While some are tabbing the new look as "hideous", I personally don't believe they appear to be that bad. Clark Kent is living proof that there is nothing wrong with wearing a giant "S" on your chest. If Superman can get away with it, so can the world's best basketball squad.

Former players ejected at alma mater's basketball game

Watch as referee Karl Hess ejects two former NC State players from their game against Florida State on Saturday.

The two ejectees are former NBA forward Tom Gugliotta and former NCAA career assists leader Chris Chorchiani.

The incident occurred with roughly six minutes remaining in the game when the Seminoles had a comfy, 18-point lead.

It is unknown what the two said that set the whistle-blower off, but said Corchiani afterward: "Karl"rabbit ears" Hess didn't like the fact Googs and I told him he was having a bad day, inconsistent, and telling the truth."

Olympic swimmer proposes to girlfriend on medal stage (Video)

Not only did two-time gold medalist Matt Grevers win the 100-meter backstroke at last weekend's Missouri Grand Prix, but he also won the heart of his beloved lady.

After concocting an elaborate plan to propose to his longtime girlfriend, fellow National team swimmer Annie Chandler, Grevers did just that after accepting his medal for the race.

Said Grevers after the fact: "I've just been searching for a unique way to pop the question. My whole family is here and I figured it would be a perfect opportunity and a unique situation."

You figured right, man.

World, meet Mamadou Ndiaye (Video)

Meet 7-foot-5 Brethren Christian High (Cal.) center Mamadou Ndiaye, reportedly the tallest prep basketball player in the world.

Seen here is footage from one of Ndiaye's recent games where he easily dropped 30 points on the opposing team. It's like watching The Monstars from the movie Space Jam have their way with the hapless Looney Tunes.

Seen here is a proud dad showing off his son's superior hand-eye coordination in some ping-pong exercises. His backhand may need a little fine-tuning, but he's sure got the forehand down pretty good.
