Video: Jason Kidd's clutch three lifts Knicks past Nets

The New York Knicks sent the city rival Brooklyn Nets to their fifth loss in a row on Tuesday night, and did so in part thanks to this clutch 3-pointer by veteran Jason Kidd with just 24 ticks left on the clock.

Kidd and the Knicks escaped the Barclays Center with a thrilling 100-97 victory to improve their record to 16-5 on the season. The Nets fell to 11-9.

Kidd scored 18 points in the contest, all of which came via 6-8 shooting from the three-point line, and even managed to draw a foul on the game-winning play. He ended up missing the free throw, but it proved to be irrelevant.

The two teams will hook up once again on December 19 in Madison Square Garden.

  1. These referee's they have now are really garbage.Very inconsistent on both sides. Melo was getting beat the heck up drawing blood a few times and D. Will got hit hard a couple of times.
