South Florida's Anthony Collins carried off on stretcher after collapsing

A scary scene unfolded at the Sun Dome on Saturday as South Florida guard Anthony Collins had to be lifted off the floor via stretcher after collapsing midway through the second half. The game was delayed for several minutes before EMTs eventually removed Collins from the court of play.

Collins went down after receiving a knee to the side of his head by a George Mason defender while the two engaged in a mad scramble for the ball. USF beat writer Greg Auman later tweeted that the point guard had movement in his arms and legs as he was carried off.

Deadspin has exclusive video of the play.

The sophomore point guard was taken to a local hospital for further examination.

The Bulls went on to secure the victory, 61-57, over the visiting Patriots.
