Small Packers fan talks a little trash to Bears mascot
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers boast one of the most intense rivalries in all of football. So, you can only imagine what everyday life is like for a displaced Packers fan living in Chicago.
Such is the case for 8-year old and second-grader Mason. Her parents hail from the great state of Wisconsin, which means she and her sisters were born Packers fans. Recently, Bears mascot "Staley Da Bear" paid her elementary school a visit for an assembly on nutrition.
From Mason's mother courtesy of Chicagoist Daily:
This assembly was a big day for my girls because of all the heat they take (all in good fun of course). The funniest thing about it, is Mason is deathly afraid of anything in a mascot uniform, but I guess she thought this was her duty as a Packers fan. Her exact words to Staley were. "Deal with it, Bro!"
The Packers (9-4) and the Bears (8-5) are set to collide at Solider Field this Sunday with first place in the NFC North on the line. I guess we know who Mason will be rooting for.
