Packers to pay folks $10 an hour to help shovel snow

Would you like a chance to ensure that the upcoming game pitting the Packers and Titans will go on as planned? Well, here is your shot to do just that. Green Bay is calling on some assistance Friday morning to help clear Lambeau Field of snow in preparation for Sunday's game.
From Green Bay's official site:

Interested shovelers – as many as 600 – are asked to report to the Mills Fleet Farm Gate on Lambeau Field’s west side, beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, and continuing through the day as needed.

Shovelers need to be at least 15 years old and will receive $10 per hour, with payment to be made immediately upon completion of their work. The Packers will provide shovels to all who come to help.

Sounds like a deal!

  4. Mr. Anonymous - Back-Breaking Labor?? Crying out loud it's snow shoveling-probably should try it some time. Most of our people up here in Wisconsin would do it for the pride, the Packers are just generous enough to pay us. The Pack will always be our #1 but our Brewers are a real close second. Signed, A proud Wisconsin 62 year old fan.

  5. Last time I am aware of, this was done just before the World Championship game in GB against the Dallas Cowboys the year b-4 Super Bowls began. Ice Bowl, it was called. All you had to do is shovel the snow to the steps and slide it down over wood that covered the steps. Then on the way down get the snow off the steps. No big deal
