The BCS National Championship Game pitting No. 1 Notre Dame (12-0) up against No. 2 Alabama (12-1) is still over four weeks away. However, that hasn't stopped a group of Alabama fans from talking a little trash before the big showdown in Miami.
Apparently, Crimson Tide fans have designed a customized shirt for the game which includes the phrase "I'd Rather be Good than Lucky". The Alabama logo takes the place of the first "O", while a clover representing Notre Dame occupies the "U".
Is the shirt a sign of confidence or arrogance?
If there is any team worthy of talking trash it's the Crimson Tide. Nick Saban's bunch have won two of the last three national championships and are in great position to make it three out of four.
Meanwhile, the tradition-rich Irish haven't one a title since 1988 and are just 2-10 in their last 12 bowl games overall.
Both teams will push their chips to the middle of the table on January 7, 2013 to see who takes home college football's most coveted honor. Will Notre Dame get the last laugh?

DeleteA shirt is a shirt. This one was probably designed and is being sold by someone that's neither an Alabama nor Notre Dame Fan. Would you please explain the difference between and Alabama Redneck and an Indiana Houser. I know people from both states and all have their flaws. If your religious affiliation is the reason you’re a Notre Dame fan then you know more people have died because of the Catholic faith than all wars combined.
