Video: Tim Lincecum gets nailed with a cork in NLDS celebration
The San Francisco Giants had plenty of reason to celebrate on Thursday after they edged out the Cincinnati Reds, 6-4, in the decisive Game Five of the NLDS. Not only did they punch their ticket to the NLCS, but they also became the first team to ever overcome a 2-0 deficit in the NLDS dating back to 1995.
So as tradition goes, the Giants were poppin' bottles in the clubhouse afterward to celebrate the momentous occasion. It was all fun and games until Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum received a cork in his face courtesy of teammate Barry Zito.
Watch as Lincecum tries to grasp the situation and even resorts to expletives toward the end of the clip. Yep, looks like a good time to me.
