Photo: Boston College, Hawaii to wear patriotic uniforms to support troops
In an age when every major college football school in America is doing their best to upstage the University of Oregon's uniforms, it's refreshing to finally see a couple of programs that are sporting new-look unis for a good cause.
When Boston College hosts Maryland on October 27th, and Hawaii hosts UNLV on November 24th, the two schools will don patriotic-style attire designed by Under Armour to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. The dazzling uniforms will be auctioned off after the game with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the troops.
It's the fourth consecutive year that Under Armour has designed these "Freedom Jerseys", and the reason for doing so couldn't be more noble.
