There's a first for everything, right? I've seen a lot of baseball over my years, but never have I seen a paper airplane fly into the mix.
That's precisely what happened during the sixth inning of the New York Mets-Milwaukee Brewers game Saturday night as a a giant-sized paper airplane found itself onto the field near second base. The commentary regarding the landing couldn't have been any better.
"What a landing," raved the play-by-play guy.
Not only were these two entertained by the mini airshow, but the players and fans seemed to have enjoyed the shenanigan as well. In fact, the loudest ovation all evening long likely came when the plane stuck its landing point.

I thought there was a video?
ReplyDeleteUmmm, there is bro.
ReplyDeleteVideo Yes but nothing showing the plan in flight.
DeleteIt was a stealth design.
DeleteThat video was stupid it didn't even show the plain in flight
ReplyDeleteYou spelled plane like you use your brane
DeleteI hope they clipped the wing off that son of a you-know-what! This kind of behavior should be discouraged at all ballparks.
ReplyDeleteIts been going on for years at NY Jets home games from the upper deck.
