Tiger Woods knocks out spectator with wild tee shot

Some of the world's greatest golfers were hitting the links for their final practice rounds on Thursday in preparation for The Ryder Cup this weekend. One of those aforementioned golfers included Tiger Woods. Apparently, Woods still needs one final tuneup before the tournament starts on Friday.

That's because Woods' tee shot on the 18th hole at Medinah Country Club, site of this year's biennial event, went wild and struck a spectator on the head. The ball was struck so well that it actually knocked the fan out cold.

The spectator, identified as Larry Johnson, withheld any blame toward Woods for the accident by telling Woods that it wasn't his fault. Woods would then draw some laughter from the onlooking crowd by saying that it indeed was his fault. Woods ended up signing a glove for the guy who was treated for minor injuries.

And all is well that ends well, right?
