Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen has a knack for getting himself in hot water. He also has a reputable temper that's unparalleled to anyone else in baseball. And as fate would have it, the boisterous skipper may have submerged himself in boiling water once again. He took to Twitter on Friday night to express his displeasure toward this article written by ESPN's Buster Olney.
If you're pressed for time or don't feel like reading it, here's the basis of what Olney had to say. First, he questions whether or not the Marlins should blame Guillen for not meeting attendance projections. Secondly, he hints that Guillen should possibly be fired after the season. And last but not least, Olney accused the Marlins of quitting. Apparently Guillen didn't care for that last comment too much.
Here's a couple of tweets Guillen sent out after his team's victory over the first-place Reds Friday night:
Despite the broken English, Guillen's message is crystal clear. The last-place Fish may suck, but they try really hard to win. Right on, Ozzie. Right on.
