If there's an award for being the biggest sore loser in the world, this guy makes the list.
The visiting team had just taken a 2-0 lead before the following act took place. Watch as a crazed home fan jogs onto the field and sucker punches George Galamaz from behind during a recent Romanian soccer match.
Galamaz's teammates come to his aide before security personnel are able to apprehend the gutless spectator. The game would later be called off after a flare was thrown onto the field -- proving once again that soccer fans always take their sport a step too far.

The St. Louis Cardinals recently wrapped up their 11th World Series title in franchise history -- and Rams defensive end Chris Long commemorated their achievement with the following sack celebration.
The Rams went on to upset the New Orleans Saints on Sunday 31-21 to earn their first victory of the season (1-6). All in all, a pretty good week for sports fans in The Gateway to the West.

Well, this is one way to guarantee job security.
Watch as Buffalo Bills starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick drills backup QB Tyler Thigpen with the pigskin when he's not looking. The incident occurred during their 23-0 victory over Washington on Sunday.
A scary moment occurred during the Vanderbilt/Arkansas game on Saturday afternoon.
Vandy punt returner Jonathan Krause is seen here clearly calling for a fair catch before Arkansas defender Marquel Wade levels the defenseless Commodore.
The Razorbacks were flagged for a 15-yard penalty and Wade was immediately ejected from the contest -- a rarity in college football.
Simply put, there is no room in any sport for such an unsportsmanlike and bush league play such as this one.

Between losing his bat on a swing and a miss and the following shenanigan, St. Louis Cardinals infielder Nick Punto hasn't had much luck during the World Series. The only word that can accurately describe what you're about to witness is FAIL.
Watch as the 33-year old tries in vain to snap his piece of lumber in half during Game 5. The spectacle begins at the 30-second mark.
As color commentator Tim McCarver - a man with a reputation of stating the obvious - said during the game: "Little guys should not try this!" A priceless line from an epic World Series indeed.

Can you guess the three, current NASCAR drivers shown in the above image?
Thanks to Snakkle.com for the photo galley and Jay Busbee of Yahoo! Sports for the find, we can. From left-to-right the wizards of the asphalt are two-time Cup champion Tony Stewart, fan favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr., and lastly the five-time Cup champion Jimmie Johnson.
Here is how the trio appear today:
And these aren't the only drivers you can view then and now photos of. Snakkle boasts a complete gallery of plenty more. To view that gallery click on this link.

Put me down for whatever this guy's having.
Seen here is an older gentleman breaking down what looks to be a version of the robot. What's the momentous occasion you may ask? A UTSA Roadrunners tailgate, that's what.
Australian surfers Mark Mathews, Ryan Hipwood, Richie Vas and Laurie Towner recently discovered one of the most fierce surfing spots around.
The spot is located in Western Australia and the name of the shorter, stockier and thicker waves is known as "The Right"
The crew captured their session in this gnarly video clip. Enjoy.

In case you missed Game 5 of the World Series, a late-inning miscommunication between the St. Louis Cardinals' dugout and their bullpen may have cost them the game.
According to ESPN's Kurt Snibbe, this is how that now-famous phone call transpired.
A mischevious canine stole the show at a recent soccer match between Copa Sudamericana and Botafogo.
Check it out as the dog parades around the field and evades potential capturers for over three minutes!

As the competition for recruits and exposure in the world of college athletics continues to rise, so does the teams' willingness to do whatever it takes to put their program on top. And in the past few years, one of the ways to do so is through none other than uniforms.
Ohio State is just the latest on a long list of college football teams to overhaul their gameday appearance. Above is a picture tweeted out by Buckeyes tight end Reid Fragel of the team's newest helmets -- which are to make their debut when The Ohio State University battles Wisconsin this weekend.
So what do you think?

And the celebration of a NBA Championship continues for Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
The 53-year old recently sang a riveting rendition of Prince's "Purple Rain" at a karaoke bar -- much to the delight of the buzzed crowd.
As much as I enjoyed watching this, I sure hope Cuban doesn't audition for American Idol anytime soon.
Two boxing legends and a hip-hop icon come together to create this spoof to The Hangover to help promote "Street King Energy" drink.
See for yourself as Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent help Mike Tyson get his swag back on overload.
Not only did Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland nearly toss a complete-game, 2-hit shutout on Sunday, he followed that performance up with an equally impressive one on Monday night during Game 5 of the World Series.
Watch as the young left-hander does a great impersonation of the late, great Harry Caray during an in-game interview. (Click here to listen to his Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation later on in the interview).

While the NBA lockout has left some players temporarily out of a job, that's not the case for Dallas Mavericks guard Rudy Fernandez.
The Spaniard is currently spending the lockout with Real Madrid -- where in a recent game he pulled off one of the luckiest shots of the year.
Watch as Fernandez pump fakes, draws the defender in the air, gets fouled and chucks up an unlikely 3-point shot attempt....and nets it.
Credit goes to Eric Freeman of Yahoo! Sports for the find.
Allright, let me be honest. If you didn't tune into Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday, you didn't miss much. Or did you?
The Texas Rangers knotted up the series at 2-2 by blanking the visiting St. Louis Cardinals 4-0, but the bulk of the entertainment came from one of the members of the Rangers' ground crew.
Should he ever lose his job maintaining the fine grounds of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, I believe a career as a backup, music video dancer would fit him quite well (look out Kevin Federline).
P.S. - Be sure to take notice of his super sweet Chuck Taylors as well.
Many have tried and failed to emulate Michael Jordan's legendary slam from the free throw line. But this following play is about as close to it as you'll see...on the football field at least.
Watch as Florida prep star KJ Dillon takes off from the 5-yard line and extends his body into the endzone for a score.
By the way, the Apopka High FL senior currently has scholarship offers from BCS schools such as West Virginia and Arkansas, among others.
The Chicago Bears pulled out a 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London on Sunday, but that wasn't the storyline from the game.
The man of the hour was none other than this guy in the following video clip. Watch as the partially closed Englander manages to elude several security personnel before finally being taken down in a blaze of glory.

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton has excelled so far during his rookie campaign. But one play that's likely to stick with him for awhile is this bone-jarring hit delivered courtesy of Washington Redskins defender Brian Orakpo on Sunday.
Watch as Orakpo comes untouched from Newton's blind side to bring the first overall pick down for a sack midway through the second quarter.
The Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings don't like each other. Both play in the same division and both are relatively close to one another geographically.
However, that's no excuse for what transpired after a play during their game on Sunday. Vikings' defensive end Brian Robison is seen here delivering a cheap shot to the "man area" of Packers' offensive lineman T.J. Lang.
Robison and his team were hit with a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty as a result of the play, and Green Bay got the last laugh in a 33-27 victory.
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lance Berkman isn't known for his speed or gracefulness on the basepaths. And he proved it during Game 3 of the World Series when his failed attempt of a head-first slide leaves him with a mouthful of dirt (and chalk).
See for yourself as the 13-year MLB veteran "bites the dust" on this following play -- much to the delight of his onlooking teammates.
Let's be honest. The desperate Hail Mary pass in the waning seconds of games rarely ever works, except at the conclusion of this one.
Watch as Michigan State's heave toward the endzone results in the game-winning score, albeit controversial, over the visiting Wisconsin Badgers.
The University of Tulsa football team is sporting some crazy helmets these days. So wacky in fact that the psychedelic head gear could even throw Willy Wonka into a mad frenzy.
You can't argue with the results though -- the Golden Hurricanes walloped the Rice Owls on the road Saturday by a score of 38-20...improving their conference record to a flawless 3-0.
